Building Futures - Phase Two

We're excited to announce Phase Two of our Building Futures campaign!

Thank you to everyone who has donated, we have been blown away for the support for our Building Futures campaign. Due to your phenomenal support, we were able to raise over £16,000 for our four new classrooms and we are thrilled that these are now underway!! 

The next phase of our Building Futures campaign is to replace our temporary Dining Hall and Kitchen with proper brick buildings.

Our pupils are from some of the poorest communities in Shashemene, and often the food they get at school is the only food they have all day. We want to ensure they have enough food to nourish their young bodies as they grow, and enough fuel for their hungry minds as they learn! We provide nutritious breakfasts and lunches to every pupil at our school. This new Dining Hall and Kitchen will mean we are able to provide breakfast and lunch to our 480+ pupils for many years to come!

We are also in need of a Staff Room, as our current Staff Room is being repurposed this year into a classroom to accommodate our ever growing student body. 

To bring this campaign to life, we’re building a model of our school, brick by brick in the HopeHub, Ballyclare. Every donation allows you to add a brick to this model, a tangible way to see how your generosity is helping us construct a brighter future for these children. We’ve already built our four classrooms in Lego form!

The goal for this project is £10,000. In the event that this project is oversubscribed, we reserve the right to allocate excess funds to other projects of a similar nature, at our sole discretion.
